FAQ
Common questions
How do I join?
Apply on the sign-up page (Korean). When a room opens, we send you an invite code by text message. Install the app and enter the code to join the room.
Who can use Haruharu?
Anyone aged 19 or older. Age is confirmed through mobile phone identity verification when you sign up.
How many people are in a room?
Six to ten people, balanced by gender, spend three days together in one room.
What kind of videos do I post?
Short clips of ordinary moments, like your commute, lunch, or a walk. If you are not sure what to post, you can follow the missions the operators send.
Is my name and profile shown from the start?
No. In the room you use a pseudonym assigned by the app. Details such as age and MBTI open one at a time over the three days, and your nickname is shown only to the person you chose each other with.
Will the other person know whom I chose?
Choices are private. A one-on-one chat opens only for two people who chose each other.
What if something makes me uncomfortable?
You can report or block content and users right in the app. The operators run each room directly, so if you need help, let us know at hello@haruharu.co.kr.
Can I join again in a later cohort?
Yes. You can apply again on the sign-up page (Korean) when the next cohort opens.
